Ping's Pigeons

     I was surprise to find Trina and a gift bird from Eseng na me baleleng. Me sari-sarili naman silang cage so talagang air borne ang virus. Alam nyo ba kung ano gamot sa baleleng? It's not antibiotics o kahit anong gamot dyan. It's the power of sex, parisan nyo wala pang dalawang linggo galing na ha ha. Matagal na namin ginagawa to pag may nagkakabaleleng. Nagkataon lang na cock and hen sila kaya sila na pinagpares ko, sabay sila gumaling promise. Kung isa lang me baleleng sa inyo bili kayo native. O ayan ha.

     He was my young bird warrior 2 years ago sa BFRC Summer Race, he placed 3rd O.A. sa Funrace and won a couple of pooling. But then he failed to complete the clocking ng derby. I gave him away. Bago mag start training ng summer bumalik sya, my bad di ko na sya binalik me ibang balak ako sa kanya. Nilaban ko sya ngayon sa OB category ng BFRC. Clock sya sa Santiago but came home the next day sa Ilagan lap. E alam mo naman ako ayaw ko ng me butas nilaban ko naman sa GWRPA. 800 plus ang naglaban sa Ilagan wala pa sa kalahati nag clock. Buti naman nag clock si Thirdy. Pangatlong chance mo na yan ha. Uwi ka sa Sunday.

     I bought 10 rings for the summer race of 2016 but all went to waste. I didn't use a single ring, just paid for it. 2 weeks bago mag start training ng summer wala ako panlaban. I have no choice but to pull out  warriors from my breeders. One of them was Bebe, she placed 12th Overall sa GWRPA Young Bird North Race of 2014. She's the daughter of De635. She clocked Santiago, Ilagan and Tuguegarao, by this time pinarisan ko na sya. Thursday night when I came back from the office and was feeding my pigeons I was shocked to find Bebe with an egg, Panic mode na naman. Pero di ako masyado pressured kasi me isa pa ako live. Sunday morning came, one of my warriors na na cut off sa BFRC I raced naman sa GWRPA. Wala pa kalahati nag clock sa Ilagan lap kaya expected na na smash ang Sta. Ana. Past 4 pm wala pa rin yung dalawa ko, kinompute ko cut off ko 4:12 pm. When I looked up nakadapo na si Bebe sa landing board. Sabi ko sayang di umabot sa oras, kung di siguro nangitlog...

  Not planning on playing sana this summer race pero baka mainip ako so yung mga dapat retired na from racing nag decide ako na i-pull out sa breeders. All 4 of them talunan sa race na sinalihan nila, "Bebe" placed 12th O.A. last 2014 sa GWRPA North Race, my 2 red bars failed to clock sa last lap ng GWRPA North Race 2015, and the lone cock although won a pooling and a minor prize sa funrace ng Summer Race of 2014, failed to complete his clocking also. First lap was Santiago, 2379 birds were in flight, clocked 3 of my warriors sa OB category, one of my reds failed to come home, Ilagan, 2 hens made it, my lone cock went home the next day. Tuguegarao my 2 ladies clocked again. Next Sunday last lap na Sta. Ana. i hope they redeem themselves this time.

         More than a month ago, i thought I had the momentum. You see my pigeon, out of nowhere, suddenly made an appearance sa overallan, 9th overall to be exact. Catbalogan na yung susunod. I remember being so excited. Ang sarap kaya magpauwi ng Catbalogan. Around this time namomroblema ako actually kasi isa lang ibon ko, live pa so wala ako magagawa kundi i load talaga. Pag di nakauwi wala ako masasali sa Mcarthur ng PHA. Nangyari na nga  yung kinakatakutan ko, di sya umuwi. I must admit I was hurt, really really hurt, didn't answer calls, texts, chats, total shut down ako. Wala kasi ako maisip na ginawa kong mali. Saka I was expecting too much kasi lahat ng kapatid nya nanalo, including De635, yes, De635 is her sister. I can't believe ngayon lang ako matatalo sa magkakapatid na to. Lahat ng hen na nilabas ng foudation bird ko ended as winners until this bird. Fast forward after more than one month, nakauwi yung kalapati ko. Then this morning me grou...

    What's going on? Habang papalayo ang laban ng south pagrabe ang smashan. GWRPA's Matnog lap was a disaster, walang nag clock kahit isa, kahit day bird walang nagpauwi. BFRC already announced they're going to release the birds on Monday together with PHA, sa Sorsogon. Aruy! Pano yan me pasok ako. I need a plan. The next morning BFRC released the birds at 6:35 a.m., what will I do ba? Then I thought of an idea, sinarado ko yung loft ko so that when my warrior comes home, makikita sya ng daddy ko whom I instructed to get the sticker and text the number to me, ako mag ka-clock. I told him to wait around 12 noon kasi mga ganung oras pwede magpauwi. Kaya lang baka nga pala me umuwing GWRPA warrior from Matnog malito sya, so I said pag puti ang ring ikulong lang, pag yellow I text sakin yung number. At the office while I was having an early lunch, around 11:30, my dad called and said my pigeon arrived. Are you sure? It's too early yata, dilaw daw yung ring. And he gave me...

     I was right, my BFRC young bird did not clock, although not quite because she made it home. Originally I thought she's a goner. I was planning to not load her on the 3rd lap pero kinabukasan I was surprised when I held her. Gumanda hipo nya. Tuloy ang laban, dapat manggugulang na ko sa Sariaya qualifying na sya dapat ilo load pero feeling ko this time kaya na nya. Natagalan lang sya mag recover. Sa GWRPA naman 3 out of 4 ako. Yung cock di na nakauwi ha ha. Bumalik ang sumpa. Legaspi lap was one of the scariest race for me. Sabado pa lang me mga nagsasabi na sakin mga taga Quezon province wala daw tigil ulan, the next morning ganun pa rin. Thank you sa mga taga Quezon ha, di nyo kaya ako pinatulog ha ha. Waiting time comes, got my calculator, compute for the speed,  1200  wala, 1100 wala, 1000 wala pa rin. Di ko matanggap mukang wala ah. Kakatingin ko sa Ipad ko di ko napansin nakadapo na pala yung isa, yes!!! me isa na ko, pag ka clock ko another one dives...
