Ping's Pigeon

Hey guys, i'm very passionate about my pigeons. I've had them since I was 7 years old. But I only started racing in 2005. Like most beginners, i was on a buying streak. I bought breeders every chance I get. A lot of wasted resources before I finally learned to control myself and concentrated on buying the best line my money can buy. The first time I joined I absolutely knew nothing. I joined a fun race in 2005, my first, and I didn't know how nerve wracking that was. Waiting for your birds to come home. It was a fine Sunday morning and our birds will be release in Tarlac. When my 2 birds came home together I really didn't have any idea they would win 1st and 3rd places. Can you imagine that? First time and I won! Grabe! I was floating on air. A few months after that I joined a real racing club. There was a 3 month training program before the actual race was held, and my pigeon was doing fine. On the 1st lap of the North Race around November 2005, which was Ilagan, Isabela, I was so devastated when my bird didn't come home that Sunday, she went home the next day. That's when I started asking tips from seasoned players, reading and surfing the net for some more. When the South Race 2006 started around February, i saw positive results. I was able to clock my pigeon from Naga to Legaspi, she didn't made it home in Sorsogon, but still I was happy. By the time the North Race of 2006 started I already have a little knowledge in pigeon racing. I entered 5 pigeons that year. But to my dismay, I was only able to clock 1 bird in Ilagan, there's still 5 more races to go and I have only 1 live bird competing, bummer. But guess what? That single live bird of mine not only completed the race, It won the championship solo. He was the only live bird to come home in the Aparri Lap. I can't imagine winning a championship on my 2nd year only. Since then I got hooked deeper and deeper in this game called pigeon racing. I love this game.
