Baleleng young bird placed 6th in Naga

Three weeks ago i noticed one of my young birds drank lots of water after nila magligid. I observed her for a while and noticed something is wrong, natakot ako kasi feeling ko paramixo sya, I isolated her and saw her droppings are watery at kulay green, dun ko na confirm na me sakit nga sya, tapos di sya kumakain. Hinayaan ko na lang sya sa hawla. after a week another one of my young birds showed signs of the dreaded desease. bummer 2 weeks na lang umpisa na ang race. Last week iniisip ko na talaga ipapatay yung dalawa kasi baka kako makahawa, sabi lang ng friends ko ihagis ko na lang sa Naga kesa patayin ko. So last Friday sinampa ko silang dalawa. I have ten young birds na sinali sa BFRC, nahihiya ako sa loading kasi baka mahalata nila na me baleleng yung dalawang ibon ko. Madalas ko marinig mahirap husgahan ang kalapati, sa pigeon talk namin i kept saying di na makaka uwi yung dalawang young birds ko kasi baleleng pareho. Sunday came at around 10 a.m. lumabas na ko to wait for my birds, while i was chit chatting with a friend dumating na yung isang young bird ko, to my surprise isa sa mga me baleleng ko yung dumating. clocked it at 10:24 with a speed of 1,214.919, i checked yona-pro and i saw i was 8th sa clocking, upon further inspection i was so surprised pang 6th ako sa young bird category. Oh wow can you believe it, sa picture nga naka paling ang ulo nya tapos punong puno ng tubig ang butse nya. Ang hirap i explain ano ba yan!

     I was surprise to find Trina and a gift bird from Eseng na me baleleng. Me sari-sarili naman silang cage so talagang air borne ang virus. Alam nyo ba kung ano gamot sa baleleng? My Program

Breeding is GOLD, maintenance is silver. I read it somewhere, forgot where but somehow it got stuck on my mind. And it became my guide. Hindi ako nagpupurga, hindi rin ako nagbabakuna. I only use breeder mix both sa breeders and young birds ko. I don't use antibiotics din. Isang beses lang ako magpa loft fly sa umaga pagka gising not because of anything, pero yun lang time ko na pwede magpaligid kasi me work ako, wala ako loftman. Dami nagtatanong pano daw mag conditioning sa training o derby, kung sa training o derby pa lang kayo mag start mag condition late na kayo. Dapat breeding pa lang nagku condition na. Versele Laga glucose, 3 to 4 times a week ako maglagay sa water, pag training sa arrival. Pag ka pares ko ng breeders sinusubuan ko araw araw ng calcium, yung pang manok mura lang 20 pesos lang ata isa bote nun. Saka Brewer's Yeast sa Mercury nabibili. Saka paminsan minsan b-complex lalo na pag yung hen namimilay pag umiitlog. Pagka pisa ng itlog i wait for 6 days

Overall (GWRPA, SUPRA, BFRC & MMFC)

     In my previous blog entry, I wrote about some of my achievements. One of those was the fact that I was lucky enough to get a trophy in all the clubs I did join. This year I was able to better that, because of Trina's 15th overall finish in MMFC, I now  have an overall in all the clubs I played for. I just hope that I can have a higher placement in MMFC in the near future. Crossing my fingers he he. Pacquaio - 1st Overall Champion (Solo Live) GWRPA North Young Bird Category 2006 Calbayog Queen - 2nd Overall SUPRA South Young Bird Category 2008 (Although 2nd lang sya, for me champion na rin kasi natalo lang naman ako ng 1st overall  champion by a mere 7 points) Pinky - 1st Overall BFRC North Old Bird Category
