Dream Loft

Image
In the span of 14 years as a pigeon racer, i think i changed loft 3 times already. The loft I have now I thought would be my last loft. But for a while I'm thinking of changing again. The one I have now requires me to climb a ladder and right now I'm not getting any younger and I'm already having a hard time climbing, plus factor in a couple of  missteps/accidents I've experienced. Isa pa sa factor na  nire-reconsider ko is the height of my loft. Medyo mataas sya, kaya wala akong trapping. (Picture is my breeding loft not my flyer's)     The second photo is what I'm actually dreaming of these days. Although it would require cleaning ng floor kasi my current loft bumabagsak lang sa sand yung poops, and ilang years ko na di ginagalaw ha ha.

Keep The Family Alive

To veterans out there? Would you risk flying a season using without your ever trusted lines? I'm talking no trace what so ever of any blood, just pure new pigeons in your loft? My guess is no way its gonna happen right? Me too. Its very hard to gamble completely on new pigeons to fight for you, lalo na sa veterans. Yung wala ka idea kung ano ililipad. So its very important to inbreed your winning lines para ma continue saka di mawala o lumabnaw yung dugo sa loft nyo. You can pair fathers to daughters, mothers to sons, siblings, even mag titos and titas or granddaughters/grandsons to great parents. Jusme if I'm not talking about pigeons these sounds so sinful.

Para San Ba Yung Off Color?

Image
Para san daw ba yung off-color? Kanya kanya yan. For me, bata pa lang ako mahilig na ko sa off color, pero dati display lang talaga sila. These past few years there was a surge in demand for off color pigeon racing. Suddenly yung pang display lang dati pwede mo na i-race, biglang bigla yung nakakulong lang buong araw sa cages ngayon nakikita mo na nagliligid, much more nahahagis na saka nare-race. I admit yung thrill  saka yung challenge kasi is to produce an off color na mananalo sa race. I produced a couple of birds who won in a bird show pero sa race puro finisher pa lang, kaya me konting gigil pa ko. Akala ko ma a-achieve ko na sya this Summer 2019 but my pigeon failed to clock Sta. Ana. I was in Cagayan De Oro for a whole week kaya di ako ang nag alaga sa kanya. Although smash talaga yung race ng Sta. Ana but still iniisip ko pa din kung ako kaya nag alaga that week napauwi ko kaya? I guess I will never know.      But still, happy na rin ako kasi nakauwi pa din. So for

That One Producer or Golden Pair

Almost every newbies would ask "Pano po ba manalo?". It is actually very simple yet very tricky and would entail a lot of luck. First, you need to be "blessed" with a producer breeder. Producer yung halos lahat ng iaanak nya either completes a race or better yet, wins a race. Once you invested in supposed to be good breeders, the next thing to do is to race the offspring. And when you paired pigeons na nak
