Opal

     Kung naging babae ka naiba kaya lipad mo? I flew off colors this season but only one survived, him. I wrote about him in my past blog entry, He clocked Santiago and Ilagan of BFRC then came home the following day from Tuguegarao. And since nagbutas na sya i flew him sa GWRPA na nag start naman ang old bird category the following week sa Tuguegarao ulit, clock sya. Typhoon Lando came na cancel lahat ng race which is supposed to be Aparri lap. Sta Ana lap was a disaster ubos ang kalapati, three of my live warriors failed to come home, I waited till Monday pero wala talaga. Out of the three I was expecting my opal na makakauwi kasi nakaranas na sya umuwi ng kinabukasan, usually pag naka experience ang kalapati ng ganun mas me tendency talaga makauwi. When i came home from the office Tuesday gabi na, when i opened my loft tumatakbo opal ko sakin gutom na gutom. Ahhh he made it home. Wow opal ko Sta. Ana finisher, di naman mataas expectations ko sa mga off colors ko. Next time i'll try to improve their performance. Pag aralan ko he he.

Ping is it game over na? Will there be any chance at all to stay in the race? Lungkot naman yata ako. Anyway it was a hard fought game! Maybe this north race is really not meant for you . I know you did your very best! You're passion and love for your birds for me is considered an achievement. Your goals for this race may not be achieved but I believe you and your racers wii surely bounce back . There's always room for improvement and I know you are more hungry than before! Light is maybe too far along the way and night full of darkness is at hand. A warrior never weeps nor never be discourage but he keeps pushing forward till he sees the light of opportunity. Battle scars will remind you of the past! NEVER SAY DIE nor SURRENDER ....

My Program

Breeding is GOLD, maintenance is silver. I read it somewhere, forgot where but somehow it got stuck on my mind. And it became my guide. Hindi ako nagpupurga, hindi rin ako nagbabakuna. I only use breeder mix both sa breeders and young birds ko. I don't use antibiotics din. Isang beses lang ako magpa loft fly sa umaga pagka gising not because of anything, pero yun lang time ko na pwede magpaligid kasi me work ako, wala ako loftman. Dami nagtatanong pano daw mag conditioning sa training o derby, kung sa training o derby pa lang kayo mag start mag condition late na kayo. Dapat breeding pa lang nagku condition na. Versele Laga glucose, 3 to 4 times a week ako maglagay sa water, pag training sa arrival. Pag ka pares ko ng breeders sinusubuan ko araw araw ng calcium, yung pang manok mura lang 20 pesos lang ata isa bote nun. Saka Brewer's Yeast sa Mercury nabibili. Saka paminsan minsan b-complex lalo na pag yung hen namimilay pag umiitlog. Pagka pisa ng itlog i wait for 6 days

Overall (GWRPA, SUPRA, BFRC & MMFC)

     In my previous blog entry, I wrote about some of my achievements. One of those was the fact that I was lucky enough to get a trophy in all the clubs I did join. This year I was able to better that, because of Trina's 15th overall finish in MMFC, I now  have an overall in all the clubs I played for. I just hope that I can have a higher placement in MMFC in the near future. Crossing my fingers he he. Pacquaio - 1st Overall Champion (Solo Live) GWRPA North Young Bird Category 2006 Calbayog Queen - 2nd Overall SUPRA South Young Bird Category 2008 (Although 2nd lang sya, for me champion na rin kasi natalo lang naman ako ng 1st overall  champion by a mere 7 points) Pinky - 1st Overall BFRC North Old Bird Category
