After 8 Years



       I think a curse has been broken, after eight years of flying emiels, wala pa kasing nakakarating ng derby na barako sa loft ko. It almost didn't happen when Ragay smash happened last week. I was training four cocks walang nag day bird. Luckily two made it the next day, yes! First time ko makakapag load ng barako na emiel. I raced four young birds sa GWRPA, three hens one cock. Yung tatlong hen 1,100 lahat speed I was even filming their arrival. Tapos wala na dumating, my cut off was 1:31 p.m. Mag aalas dose na wala pa yung cock. Fb fb lang dI ko namalayan nakadapo na sya sa landing board, YES!!! I'm devirginized ha ha. 

     Ay teka, I almost forgot, me dalawa pa ko young bird sa BFRC, the hen made it home with a speed of just 800 plus, ok na ko dun, the cock didn't make it. I kinda expected it kasi although nagsisiga sigaan sya sa loft parang ayaw nya mag loft fly. In addition me nisnis pakpak nya, reminiscent of my warriors last year. So I guess pag nag-ninisnis ang pakpak indication ng poor health? I'm taking note of that from now on.

My Program

Breeding is GOLD, maintenance is silver. I read it somewhere, forgot where but somehow it got stuck on my mind. And it became my guide. Hindi ako nagpupurga, hindi rin ako nagbabakuna. I only use breeder mix both sa breeders and young birds ko. I don't use antibiotics din. Isang beses lang ako magpa loft fly sa umaga pagka gising not because of anything, pero yun lang time ko na pwede magpaligid kasi me work ako, wala ako loftman. Dami nagtatanong pano daw mag conditioning sa training o derby, kung sa training o derby pa lang kayo mag start mag condition late na kayo. Dapat breeding pa lang nagku condition na. Versele Laga glucose, 3 to 4 times a week ako maglagay sa water, pag training sa arrival. Pag ka pares ko ng breeders sinusubuan ko araw araw ng calcium, yung pang manok mura lang 20 pesos lang ata isa bote nun. Saka Brewer's Yeast sa Mercury nabibili. Saka paminsan minsan b-complex lalo na pag yung hen namimilay pag umiitlog. Pagka pisa ng itlog i wait for 6 days

Overall (GWRPA, SUPRA, BFRC & MMFC)

     In my previous blog entry, I wrote about some of my achievements. One of those was the fact that I was lucky enough to get a trophy in all the clubs I did join. This year I was able to better that, because of Trina's 15th overall finish in MMFC, I now  have an overall in all the clubs I played for. I just hope that I can have a higher placement in MMFC in the near future. Crossing my fingers he he. Pacquaio - 1st Overall Champion (Solo Live) GWRPA North Young Bird Category 2006 Calbayog Queen - 2nd Overall SUPRA South Young Bird Category 2008 (Although 2nd lang sya, for me champion na rin kasi natalo lang naman ako ng 1st overall  champion by a mere 7 points) Pinky - 1st Overall BFRC North Old Bird Category
