I'm Announcing My Retirement - Bebe

     For the 3rd time, Bebe did it again! When she flew as a young bird back in 2012, she placed 12th Overall in GWRPA North Race. In 2014, I flew her again as an old bird warrior sa Summer Race ng BFRC kasi wala akong panlaban. Kakagaling lang nya sa breeding plus the fact na 2 years na sya nakakulong lang. Nung umpisa ng training parang nawalan ako kumpyansa sa kanya kasi super hingal sya saka pagod pag umuuwi, kungbaga wala sya in fighting form, per habang lumalayo napansin ko bumabalik na lakas nya. On the last lap which is Sta. Ana Cagayan umitlog sya nung loading day, kaya di na rin ako nag expect na kakayanin nya umuwi. But she did! This time she placed 14th Overall. 

     Summer Race of 2017 came, as usual wala ako panlaban ng summer. While talking to my friends sabi ko ilaban ko kaya ulit si Bebe, which I did. I started with 3 old birds. First lap butata agad yung dalawa, pareho pang injured. Bebe again?! This time 5 laps na summer race ng BFRC, Santiago, Ilagan, Tuguegarao, Sta ana 1 and Sta Ana 2, The race started with 2067 birds. Sa OB Category only 22 birds completed the race, I placed 16th Overall. Bebe placed 12th in 2012, 14th in 2014 and 16th in 2017, me interval of two tapos pa decrease pa ha, pero congrats Bebe ko.

Your retirement from racing is worth deserving . You had achieved a rare kind of success. You didn't land in the top 10 in your races but your determination and desire to fly back home is unparalleled! Your official retirement is worthy to be in the books!

     I was surprise to find Trina and a gift bird from Eseng na me baleleng. Me sari-sarili naman silang cage so talagang air borne ang virus. Alam nyo ba kung ano gamot sa baleleng? It's not antibiotics o kahit anong gamot dyan. It's the power of sex, parisan nyo wala pang dalawang linggo galing na ha ha. Matagal na namin ginagawa to pag may nagkakabaleleng. My Program

Breeding is GOLD, maintenance is silver. I read it somewhere, forgot where but somehow it got stuck on my mind. And it became my guide. Hindi ako nagpupurga, hindi rin ako nagbabakuna. I only use breeder mix both sa breeders and young birds ko. I don't use antibiotics din. Isang beses lang ako magpa loft fly sa umaga pagka gising not because of anything, pero yun lang time ko na pwede magpaligid kasi me work ako, wala ako loftman. Dami nagtatanong pano daw mag conditioning sa training o derby, kung sa training o derby pa lang kayo mag start mag condition late na kayo. Dapat breeding pa lang nagku condition na. Versele Laga glucose, 3 to 4 times a week ako maglagay sa water, pag training sa arrival. Pag ka pares ko ng breeders sinusubuan ko araw araw ng calcium, yung pang manok mura lang 20 pesos lang ata isa bote nun. Saka Brewer's Yeast sa Mercury nabibili. Saka paminsan minsan b-complex lalo na pag yung hen namimilay pag umiitlog. Pagka pisa ng itlog i wait for 6 days

Overall (GWRPA, SUPRA, BFRC & MMFC)

     In my previous blog entry, I wrote about some of my achievements. One of those was the fact that I was lucky enough to get a trophy in all the clubs I did join. This year I was able to better that, because of Trina's 15th overall finish in MMFC, I now  have an overall in all the clubs I played for. I just hope that I can have a higher placement in MMFC in the near future. Crossing my fingers he he. Pacquaio - 1st Overall Champion (Solo Live) GWRPA North Young Bird Category 2006 Calbayog Queen - 2nd Overall SUPRA South Young Bird Category 2008 (Although 2nd lang sya, for me champion na rin kasi natalo lang naman ako ng 1st overall  champion by a mere 7 points) Pinky - 1st Overall BFRC North Old Bird Category
